My Experiences with MS

I wanted to start my first post off by just telling some of my experiences that I have had so far with MS. MS has definitely changed my life. But I think that it has changed my life in a very positive way. It has made more determined and focused. It makes you work harder at some things that are relatively easy for most. MS can affect people in so many different ways such as, It can affect your stress levels, It can affect your personal relationships and a lot of other aspects of your life. The best thing I could tell anyone is that you are the same as everyone else. You just have something extra! MS doesn’t have to be a negative thing in your life you can make it positive in so many ways. You can go to support groups. That is why I started this website because I wanted to give young people and people for that matter that have MS a chance to share their thoughts and feelings and experiences. I know that I still have so much to learn about this disease. I am sure that there are some things that other people could share with me about the disease that could help. I look forward to making this website the best that it can be and make it a place where young people want to come and blog about there experiences and thoughts. When you are going through everything that MS throws at you it is hard and sometimes you don’t know where to turn. It is always good to have someone to talk to and share with. Hopefully this website can be that outlet for you. I know that it will definitely help me because my biggest obstacle is my anxiety and stress. My anxiety definitely gets in my way sometimes. I get nervous about the smallest things. I was speaking with my REBIF nurse and my mother and father and they all said that finding a way to express my feelings and experiences would help me greatly. That is why my mom and dad thought of this website. Because rather than getting nervous and stressed about things I can get on this website with other people that have multiple sclerosis and share with them. I encourage everyone to share with me because it truly is a stress reliever and a way to get your thoughts out there.
Smiles, Jennifer
